SGD recently won Diagnostics Provider of the Year at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2025, marking its third consecutive win. This recognition affirms SGD’s leadership in diagnostics, with 60 laboratory sites serving over two million patients annually across the Philippines.
At the same 2025 ceremony, SGD was awarded ICT Initiative of the Year for its homegrown e-SLIP platform, which connects over 800 partner laboratories nationwide. This digital system streamlines test requests, result delivery, and patient data exchange, improving turnaround times and operational efficiency.
Additionally, SGD received the Facilities Improvement Initiative of the Year award for its work with VisayasMed in Cebu. Through infrastructure upgrades, equipment modernization, and staff training, SGD boosted diagnostic capacity, shortened test result turnaround times, and improved patient outcomes.
These recognitions add to SGD’s achievements from 2024, including Employee Engagement of the Year and Service Innovation of the Year. Since 2019, SGD has also maintained its College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation, ensuring high standards of accuracy and safety.
